Black+Red Card

I own the tattered florals die, and I have never used it on anything other than cardstock.

So, when I saw the WHW tutorial from Joanna at ‘Inspired By Stamping’, I was itching to try it out. It so happened that I had too visit B’lore this weekend. And what dos B’lore have? Apart from the totally adorable Hamsi akka, and her kids, B’lore has Itsy Bitsy!

While Priya’s Craft Shop and Shalini’s Crafters Corner are the GO-TO places for imported stuff at really really reasonable prices. For Indian handmade and exotic stuff, Itsy Bitsy is the paradise. I picked up a Burlap/Jute sheet in maroonish red among the other things I shopped for.

Here’s the card

Joanna’s has mentined using “NESTIES” in her tutorial. But I thought Burlap and tattered florals would go together better. Hope I dont get DQed.

This is the first card I’ve made in black, and I really donno what sentiment to use along with it 😐

So, for now this is blank.

Entering this card into

IBS – WHW #101

To add a knot to qualify for BGC – oh so knotty challenge πŸ™‚
