Galaxy Background

Hello,

Today I’m sharing a card that I made. It’s a simple one. I read so much about making galaxy backgrounds. I was still hesitant since I did not have all the distress ink colors or certain mediums. I finally decided to wing it, and I was happy with the outcome.

Die-cut Mother’s Day Card

Hello Everyone,
Finally I’m sharing the cards that I made for @insta_card_hop.

It’s crazy how I found inspiration for this card. I saw a pattern on a woman’s dress. A totally random woman, walking on the road. I see her, and the first thing that runs across my mind is, “Wow, this pattern would make a fantastic card”

So here it is,

image

The stripes on the bottom were made by watercolour. From the bottom : Memento Danube Blue + Broken China Distress Ink, Berry Sorbet, PTI New Leaf, PTI Hawaiian Shores, Watered down PTI Berry Sorbet. The small damasks were down in Versafine Onyx Black.

I then die cut this panel with a leafy flourish from Cheery Lynn. I also Die-cut a piece of fun foam using the same die, and mounted the stamped die cut to give some dimension to the flourish.

The butterfly is again Danube Blue and Broken China. Then I die-cut the butterfly from vellum and mounted both on top of each other and onto the card panel. The sentiment is from the anniversary gift set from PTI.

This card is proof of my PTI obsession.

Thank you for dropping by.
